João Fernando Salazar e Bragança (in Spanish Juan Fernando Salazar y Braganza, in English John Fernand Salazar and Braganza) was a son of Augusto Salazar e Bragança and Lilliane de Bayle. He was a member of a cadet line of the Portuguese royal family. Was born in Pena National Palace.
He married Princess Pilar de Salazar e Bragança, born Elizabeth von Sachsen und Guissen, Princess of Prussia. A marriage of convenience, between the Portuguese and the German Embassy, with the blessing of parents. They had eight children: Marcial, Lisandro, Fernando, Juanita, Patricia, Macrina, Pablo, Casimiro, Francisco. He died in Nicaragua.
